BUSTER is the latest addition to our family. He's half Bichon Frise, and half Yorkshire Terrier, and he was born on August 31, 2003.

Buster's father is a Yorkie (4 lbs.) and his mother is the Bichon (11 lbs.) so we expected his full-grown size wouldn't exceed 10 or 11 pounds. At 11 weeks, he weighed in at just over 3 pounds. But now more than 18 months later, he's tipping the scales at 17.5 pounds!

Buster's home is in Elkton, MD where he lives with his Mommy and Daddy (Diane and John) and his big brother, Max, a terrier mix of unknown origin. So far, both boys are getting along about as well as can be expected when you mix an 11-year-old only-child with a puppy.

Buster is a dog of the 21st century, and therefore has his own e-mail address. You can write to him at buster@skilton.org and his mommy will read it to him - at least until he learns to read himself.
